Promote sustainable integrated management of marine and coastal natural resources for a blue and green economy on the Macaneta peninsula.
1. Improved ability of local authorities to achieve integrated management of the coastline and reduction of coastal erosion on the Macaneta peninsula

The project promotes sustainable integrated management of marine and coastal natural resources on the Macaneta peninsula, improving the technical abilities of local authorities, promoting the blue and green economy and enhancing awareness among all the people who live in and enjoy the area.
In close collaboration with public officials, fishers, and local entrepreneurs, farmers, students and ecological workers, the project introduces mitigation and reforestation actions for the coast, supports local economic activities in fishing, tourism and farming, enhances actions for the promotion of separate collection of wastes, recycling and reuse, and is committed to promoting awareness of the importance of the environment among tourists, local communities and students.
A concrete plan involving all players whose daily actions can help save the beauty and heritage of Macaneta, preserving them for future generations.
