About the project

In response to the displacement crisis caused by the conflict along the Cambodia-Thailand border, Helpcode supports women and girls living in temporary camps in the Kralanh district, Siem Reap province.

The project operates in three IDP camps — Wat Sampov Loun e Wat Bo Khnar Techo — where many families live in precarious conditions, with limited access to safe sanitation, safe spaces and essential personal hygiene materials.

The intervention focuses on health, dignity and protection:

Implemented with the support of the Smart Axiata Relief & Recovery Fund, the project aims to strengthen the resilience of displaced communities, with a specific focus on the specific needs of women, girls, children and vulnerable people.
