Virginia Manzitti

Member of the Board

After graduating in political economy at the Bocconi University in Milan, Virginia  started her career in development cooperation in Mali, where she worked for an Italian NGO.

After this experience she worked for a research programme coordinated by the Italian-African institute based in Rome. In 1992 Virginia started working for the European Commission in Burkina and Senegal as consultant for several aid projects.

In 2002 Virginia moved to Brussels to continue working on development cooperation issues. Since 2016 she’s been working as consultant on interregional dialogue to the European Commissioner for International Cooperation and Development.

Thanks to the her experience in this issues she brings an important added value to the Helpcode board, which she joined in 2016.
